Jitana is a design house rooted in intention. Jitana creates objects that bring depth, character, and meaning into the spaces we live in. We believe the home is not styled all at once, but collected over time. Each piece carries a story, a material history, and a point of view. Jitana exists for the woman who values substance over noise, who chooses carefully, and who understands that the objects she lives with shape how her life feels.
Founded by Denise Hernandez, Jitana began as a personal pursuit shaped by travel, curiosity, and a deep respect for the people behind the work. What started as a search for meaningful objects evolved into something larger: a commitment to building relationships with skilled producers across Latin America and beyond, supporting the evolution of small workshops into thriving manufacturing partners capable of producing at scale without losing integrity.
Our collections are designed in-house and developed in collaboration with highly skilled makers in Mexico, Guatemala, and Bali. Each piece reflects a balance between modern form, material tradition, honoring process, honoring people, and honoring the environments where these objects begin.
We believe luxury is not excess, but it is intention. It is understanding where something comes from, how it was made, and why it deserves a place in your home. Jitana is building more than a collection of objects. We are building a long-term ecosystem that supports responsible production, thoughtful consumption, and a slower approach to living with beauty.
Our pieces are designed to feel personal. Quietly expressive, deeply considered, and meant to evolve with you over time.
For the designer’s eye and the collector’s heart.
